Automated External Defibrillation

An AED or ‘shock box’ as it is now commonly known, is becoming more popular in both work places and public venues. Over 700,000 people suffer a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) each year according to the UK Resuscitation Council. The use of an AED greatly improves the casualties chances of survival if attached with the first few minutes.

This course is a mixture of foundation theory and practical application. Using an AED can seem a daunting task; therefore practical application allows the candidates to develop their confidence within the newly acquired skill.

Included within the course: -

Automated External Defibrillator Training

Every candidate will be issued a Basic Life Support and AED Provider Certificate, valid for 12 months and a personal resuscitation shield (for use in the event of an emergency after the course)
