Just a quick blog to keep you upto date with whats happening at Blue Tiger. January was a busy month for us, now February is here, Claire is busy planning the next 12 months courses.

We are looking to extend our courses page, so that it is easier to browse through.

Please take a few minutes to look at our upcoming courses.

We are facilitating courses in and around the North East, the main courses running currently are Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, 12 hour Peadiatric First Aid, First AId for Parents  and AED (shock box) usage.

Is there a course you would like us to run, that currently is NOT on our list?

Mike has been busy on courses himself, updating his own skills. We stay current, so that we can teach current evidence. His is now researching for Forest School First Aid

It's the mother's birthday!

Well today was my Mums birthday……. I won’t print her age but she was born in 1955!! You do the math :0)

So what do you buy the lady who wants for nothing? (Spoilt from my dad)

Well we decided to buy her a Kindle….. She is one happy lady now!!! She has already had us load a few books on it for her.

Having never owned an eBook reader before I have never needed to look into what’s available. 3 guesses what I ended up looking at….. Yep you guessed it, what First Aid books are available.

Well I thought I would share the knowledge that if you type in “First Aid” to Amazon it comes back with 571 results!! They even have First Aid for dog books…….

However one thing it did lead me to think was, would you think to look up when the books addition was last updated?

Emergency First Aid at Work in Newcastle, Parent's First Aid in Gosforth, and more!

It’s all go at Blue Tiger.

I know it’s been a few days since I’ve wrote a blog, but we have been so busy at Blue Tiger.

We’ve had a lot of our First Aid Training courses running over the last few days.

Over the last few days we have done two EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) courses in the Newcastle area and on Saturday we were in Gosforth facilitating a parents First Aid/First Aid for Infants & Children course.

All 12 parents who attended went away with a huge confidence boost and the knowledge that they now know how to deal with situations like:

• Managing the Emergency
• Basic Life Support of Infants & Children (CPR)
• The Unconscious casualty & Recovery Position
